AN "impulsive" IT worker gave his kitchen a makeover by creating a floor made out of thousands of one pence pieces. Matt Giles, from Telford, Shropshire, individually stuck more than 27,000 coppers down to get his dream floor. And it took the 43-year-old just six weeks to complete the masterpiece, including trips to banks across the county to change his cash into individual pennies.
