PART of the M1 motorway has been closed following a multiple vehicle crash - the third major incident on the motorway in 24 hours.
West Yorkshire Police said part of the southbound carriageway from junction 40 to 39 was closed following the incident at around 7.45pm.
"It is expected to be closed for several hours. Please avoid the area if you can,” said the force.

A GIRL has died a week after being pulled from a pool at a popular water park, according to the park’s owner on Tuesday.
Law enforcement said that the young girl was pulled from the Coconut Cove pool at the Oceans of Fun water park on July 5.
According to a statement from Cedar Fair Entertainment Co, which owns the park, the girl looked to be in distress before she was taken out of the water. Read More...
