A DINER slammed a dry, overcooked and “depressing” roast dinner which cost £11.79.
The uni student was served two bits of broccoli, four overdone carrots and two slices of gristly beef and turkey.

Three tatties also looked overdone while there was just one measly piece of cauliflower cheese and an odd-shaped stuffing chunk in a Yorkshire pudding served at the Channings Hotel in Bristol.
The student’s mum, a barrister, wrote: “So this is what Greene King serves by way of award-winning roast dinner.
"My daughter was with three friends. They didn’t like to complain, thought they’d be assumed to be students trying it on.
"They’d had to pay in advance on an app. I’ve seen better in the hospital.”
She complained to the hotel but was told it would take them a week to look into it.
Lisa Caswell commented on her post: “I've just come out of hospital and the food was great.

“Their chicken dinner knocked this into a cocked hat.”
Chris Dale ranted: “There’s not much our dog would decline to eat. But I think you’ve found it.”
Tim Burrows added: “That is one of the worst meals I have ever seen. Wow.”
Mark Savage said: “That is not a roast.”
But other diners have previously complimented the hotel's food.
One wrote on tripadviser that she had the best turkey she had ever tasted when she went for Christmas Day.
Another added it had a great choice of food while another said the grub was "fresh, hot and delicious".
A spokesperson for the Channings Hotel said: "Unfortunately the roast dinner served to our customer was not to the usual standard we strive to provide to all of our customers.
"We are currently looking into what happened to ensure this does not happen again.
"We have already spoken to our customer directly to apologise and offered to welcome them back for another meal so we can make it up to them."
